Trans and Non-Binary Aid Society (TANAS). Local to Central Alberta, we're a non-profit society that's here to help transgender and non-binary individuals.

Mission: We will work cooperatively to supply quality necessities and resources, while continuing to professionally pursue long-term opportunities for Trans and Non-Binary individuals.

Qmunity is a local club that is welcoming, respectful and a safe space for students of diverse genders and sexual orientations (LGBTQ2S+) and their allies. Qmunity welcomes youth to meet up, do fun activities. socialize, and support each other in a way that is inclusive of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions and many other interests! Camp fYrefly - Camp fYrefly is Canada’s only national leadership retreat for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, asexual, intersex, queer, questioning, and allied youth. The camp provides a space for youth to explore their identity, build resilience and enhance self-esteem, all while having an awesome camp experience. Participants return home with a support network of positive friendships, trusted adult mentors, and an empowered sense of self.  Southern and Northern Alberta information is in the link.
