Travel Opportunities

Ecole Secondaire Lindsay Thurber offers many exciting opportunities for International travel. Students and teachers recently have visited such places as Costa Rica, Germany, England, Switzerland, Netherlands, France, Italy and Japan. Take advantage of a once in a life time experience and take part in one of our many International experiences that we offer. The following are list of travel excursions that will be taking place in the next 2 years.

	Tour Features: M. Malenfant, 5 chaperones, and 45 Students from our French Immersion and FLA programs will travel to our partner school in Mulhouse, France - Jeanne d'Arc for our bi-annual Exchange. The tour includes 5 days visiting the Battlefields - Vimy Ridge, Ypres, Dieppe, Juno Beach Paris - Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral and much more. 	Tour Features: Mrs. Miriam Irons has begun planning for her next excursion to Japan in 2012. We will be accepting Japanese students from Yokahama, Japan from April 13, 2012 for TWO weeks! Then, we will be going to Yokohama Japan in the middle of July for two weeks. Previous trips: In Spring of 2010, 32 students toured Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto for an unforgettable tour and homestay experience. 	Tour Features: This tour will include visits to Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fez, Ifrane, Erfoud, Rissani, Quarzazate, and Marrakesh. Highlights of the trip include riding camels in the desert, visiting a movie set, and visiting the markets.
