LTCHS Students Recipients of Local 60 ATA Scholarships
CONGRATULATIONS to Kelsey Lalor and Ben Pasiuk recipients of the Local 60 ATA Scholarship!!
Kelsey Lalor won a $2000 Education Scholarship - A student of LTCHS, Kelsey has been an active member of her school’s French immersion program and athletic department. She has been an active member of her school’s basketball team for the last four years and plays baseball at a national level. Kelsey intends to pursue a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Saskatchewan while playing basketball. Through her years of pursuing excellent performance in athletics and academics, she hopes to share this knowledge and passion with future students.
Ben Pasiuk won $1400 Son of an ATA Local #60 Member - Ben is graduating from LTCHS and is an active member of his school’s football program. He also plays football for the provincial Alberta Team and has recently been chosen as Team Captain for the U18 Team Canada Football Team. He volunteers in his school and community and is giving back to younger students though coaching and mentoring in the Knights in Training Program. Ben has been accepted into the Faculty of Arts Program at the University of Alberta. He plans on completing a Bachelor of Commerce and then move on to Law. Ben had an impressive interview and it was clear that this young man is capable of making the world around him a better place.
