2018-2019 marks my 32nd year of teaching. I grew up in Lethbridge, AB and attended U of L for all of my degrees. I have a Bachelor of Education majoring in Math, a Diploma in Education majoring in Educational Technology and a Masters in Education in Leadership. I have also taught for the Palliser and Grasslands Regional School Divisions prior to moving to Red Deer. We moved to Red Deer 12 years ago and I have been teaching at Lindsay Thurber for those 12 years. I have two adult sons(20 and 24), who now live away from home as they are both pursuing their studies in Post Secondary(Engineering and Law respectively). We have a very popular Siberian Husky named Juneau who tends to be the king of the family. I enjoy being active. I love to walk, hike, attend boot camp, bike, ski, and most of all fish. I love the lasting relationships that I have built with students over the many years and always enjoy staying in touch and visiting with current and past students. I strive to help students develop into responsible, accountable, productive, and positive contributing members of our society. I look forward to another great year!
